Design Process

The design process begins upon receipt of your order. An extensive size chart with instructions will be sent via email or post. This will include some questions specific to the design and personal preferences.  

Upon return of the size chart and receipt of your agreement to our Terms of Sale and a deposit, design sketches are prepared. If fabric and materials are not provided, these items are sourced, quotes are completed and forwarded via email or post.

It is important that full interaction with designer and client is effected via email, phone or in person. We will confirm measurements, fabrics, colours and any other additional requirements such as decoration, prior to commencing work on your dream gown or costume. 

We are happy to design custom gowns inspired by photos provided by customers. However, out of respect to other designers, when designing items from photographs we will not create exact copies.                    

     

Every possible effort to assist with measurements, choice of fabric and design will be taken to ensure the finished ball gown, formal gown or costume will meet with your satisfaction.
